7 BEST RESTAURANTS AND BARS TO VISIT ON A TRIP TO MILAN
If you were travelling to Milan for a long weekend and were wondering where some of the best places are to dine and drink, read below at the: 7 Best Restaurants and Bars to Visit on a Trip to Milan Italy.
1. Penelope A Casa Milan
My favourite restaurant in Milan, Italy.
A stunning Italian restaurant Penelope A Casa Milan is not your average restaurant. Dine in the courtyard surrounded by beautiful fairy lights. We had complimentary Prosecco with candyfloss on arrival. Plenty of breadsticks and snacks also. This is a great spot to visit before a night out, they turn up the tunes as it gets darker. The courtyard and inside was beautiful and a reflection of true traditional Italian architecture. The only thing to note is dishes are around 20 euros and quite small so make sure to add several sides.
2. Lubar Milan
Lubar is considered as one of the best bars but also is doted on for its hearty breakfasts. With beautiful decor inside, this is a great place for a brunch or a drink after dinner.

3. BAR Luce
3rd on the 7 Best Restaurants and Bars to Visit on a Trip to Milan Italy. If you fancy a trip to the set of a Wes Anderson film then head to this bar. This is a Wes Anderson themed cafe- inclusive or arcade items, bars and sweet desserts. Bar Luce at Fondazione Prada, designed even so you can stop off and have a drink or lunch on your own. I’d recommend stopping off for lunch here, a few stops from Duomo. This is worth a trip if you are staying central.
4. Cavalli Club restaurant & Lounge
Book a dinner or drink reservation here at Cavalli Club restaurant & lounge. I’d suggest having a drink at fashion icon Roberto Cavalli club in Milan before the club opens here.
5. Langosteria Milano
Langosteria Bistrot a Milano. This is one of the best seafood restaurants in Milan and a known spot for the locals. A mix between a Parisian bistrot and a seaside fish restaurant. Be sure to try their Lobster linguine with cherry tomatoes.
6. Condé Nast Bistrot
If you fancy a stop off for lunch this Condé Nast Bistrot has a selection of menus created by famed chefs while, in the evening, it welcomes patrons for a Milanese-style aperitivo for cocktails or for private events.
7. Vesta Fiori Milan
Vesta Fiori Milan is a great place to dine at or to have drinks. Make sure to book, this lounge bar has Mediterranean flavours and is spread over two floors. This Milano lounge bar is central and has a beautiful large outdoor area open all year round and made up of a terrace and staircase, perfect in summer. The refined cuisine based on fish, but also meat and with vegetarian options, is the work of chef Giorgio Bresciani and his team.
