10 top places to eat and drink in Lanzarote
10 Top Places to eat and drink in Lanzarote. I’ve spoken to the locals themselves. For some tried and tested spots around Lanzarote for breakfast, lunch and dinner or a coffee stop. Read on the 10 recommended locations.
Breakfast
1. Only Natural Healthy Food & Drinks- As the name suggests, this is a healthy restaurant and the first Green Bar in Puerto Calero. I’d suggest coming here in the morning for some delicious, healthy, fresh and homemade food and drinks, with a lot of options for vegans. Try a smoothie bowl and coffee here.
2. Panaderia & Pasteleria Mancha Blanca- An incredible find. This bakery is located in Tinajo La Santa. This opens early and is a regular stop off point for the local fisherman in the area for breakfast. Try the doughnuts here, they’re delicious.
CAFE
3. Bon Bon Cafe- This was my favourite eating spot in Lanzarote! Located in Costa Teguise, this is definitely an Instagrammable cafe. The food is decorative and perfectly presented and, despite being very popular and therefore busy, it still manages to provide a calm beach cafe vibe with cute quotes on the furniture and walls. While it is known for its amazing pancakes and açai bowls, the eggs and sandwiches are also raved about. Food is reasonably priced for the experience however the juices I noticed were just under 7 euros!
4. Pasteleria Damien- In Costa Teguise this is a very tasty bakery. There is a great selection of pastries, cakes, bread and sandwiches. Definitely try the chocolate croissant with a cup of coffee!
5. Frost roll- If you fancy a bit of shopping and are desperate for ice cream/waffles/crepes or frozen yoghurt then pop to Deiland Shopping Centre in Playa Honda. This place is really cheap and it was delicious, plus you’ll see some well known shops in the UK here such as Pull and Bear!
LUNCH
6. Puro Gusto is located up some stairs next to the Puerto Calero Marina. It is owned and run by an Italian couple. They serve large thin based pizzas here but the best thing to try on the menu is their Caesar salad! Great little place with lovely coffees and great service.
DINNER
7. La Taberna- Playa Blanca for the best tapas restaurant. If you’re in the mood for tasty spanish tapas, garlic prawns and calamari try here.

8. The Upper Deck pub- While it has a ‘Brits Abroad’ type feel, this is the perfect place for that UK fish and chips you might be craving. This is two doors down from Puro Gusto.
9. Namaste India- Located in Costa Teguise, this is arguably one of the best Indians on the island. Despite being a pricier option, this is raved about by locals and tourists alike. Lovely food and friendly staff— just be cautious of the time you pick to come here, as you could be around rowdy holidaymakers!
10. La Otra Pizza & Pasta- Simarly in Costa Teguise, this Italian seems to be the only one I am aware of that serves that iconic pasta in a cheese wheel and it is incredible. You can also choose from a variety of pizzas here- even with crab/prawn toppings and the option to mix up the bases. I’d recommend getting a pizza to take away one night from here!

Thanks for sharing! I always love a good post on restaurant recs. I find when I’m traveling I don’t want to do the work on finding restaurants and sometimes I miss out.
