Discover the heart of Split at the historic Old Town Square and Diocletian Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Marvel at ancient architecture, bustling markets, and vibrant cute cafes . I absolutely love the small town feel of Split and it’s super easy to travel around the town on foot.
2. Lunch in Split City Centre- Indulge in Local Cuisine
- Savor the flavors of Croatia, our favourite restaurant we stopped at for lunch was Bokeria Kitchen & Bar– known for its exquisite Mediterranean and European cuisine. Don’t miss the truffle and pancetta pasta, a culinary delight just minutes away from the Game of Thrones museum.

5. Roof 68– A few minutes walk from Zoi, head over after dinner. Visit Roof 68 for an evening of cocktails and ocean views. Don’t miss the flaming shots and lively atmosphere, ideal for starting your night out in Split. The cheapest cocktails here are 96 kuna (£11).

This cafe provides a relaxed setting and tasty casual comfort food to cure your hangover. What’s good on this menu mentioned is cheesecakes, belgian waffles and ice cream.
9. Relax at a Beach Club
9. Gooshter and Mistral Beach Club– Unwind at a beach club. Mistral is arguably a little more expensive for food than Gooshter however, Mistral is located just a 6 minute drive from the breathtaking beach- Bačvice Beach. Enjoy delicious food and drinks with stunning seaside views before catching your ferry to Hvar.
10. Experience Teraca Vidilica
10. Teraca Vidilica– End your Split adventure with a visit to Teraca Vidilica, offering unparalleled views of the Old Town and the Adriatic Sea. Set adjacent to the First Viewpoint, this top Split restaurant has one-of-a-kind view of the Old Town and the seascape. This is a 6 minute drive or 15 minute walk (quite a steep hill) but we climbed it and it was okay! This has beautiful views of Split so worth coming here before sunset. Only 95 Kuna (£11) for my truffle pasta this was delicious.
